The role

We are looking for a Operations Engineer to take a critical role in establishing and scaling our operational backbone. You will lead early-stage production efforts, manage initial procurement, supply-chain, logistics and manufacturing activities, building the foundation for scalable operations. Additionally, you will drive the internal cross-functional business process mapping, integrating ERP business processes across Procurement, Inventory, and Production, while implementing continuous improvement and quality initiatives to ensure scalability as production grows.

The day-to-day

• Lead early-stage production setup and manufacturing process development.
• Manage initial procurement and supply chain activities.
• Develop and map business processes across operational functions, focusing on scalability and cross-functional integration.
• Implement and maintain ERP-driven business processes (Procurement, Inventory, Production).
• Identify and drive continuous improvement, quality initiatives, and operational best practices.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, production, commercial and finance teams to streamline operations.
• Support the transition to full-scale production operations.

You should apply if you

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Bring 3+ years of professional experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or business process engineering.
• Are passionate about building and scaling operational structures from the ground up.
• Have hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or similar platforms.
• Demonstrate strong process-oriented thinking, a team-player mindset, cross-functional collaboration skills, and a continuous improvement approach.
• Thrive in fast-paced start-up environments, with a proactive and hands-on attitude and the ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Built operations and systems from the ground up in a deep-tech startup.
• Familiarity with defense, aerospace, or unmanned systems industries.
• ISO 9001 experience.
• Experience implementing ERP systems or leading ERP optimization projects.
