Please note, this position is fully remote but requires you to drive to client sites daily around the Munich area.

Our clients in the Electronics Manufacturing industry are looking for a motivated Field Service Engineer/Technician to join their German team. Our client develops, manufactures and sells energy recovery systems for test benches in e- mobility, battery simulation and testing. We are looking for an individual to join full-time for the field service department. In this role, you will not only immerse yourself in the technology of our products, but also learn how to deal with our customers. You quickly take on responsibility and are deployed throughout Germany, Europe and in a few cases even worldwide - variety and a steep learning curve are guaranteed. This role does include travel daily, but the position offers a vehicle for professional and personal use.

Responsibilities Include:

• Commissioning/Installing of our new facilities and systems at the customer's site
• Introducing the customer to the basic functions and basic structure of the system and systems
• Maintenance and calibration of the customer's facilities and systems
• Error analysis and repair of the customer's plants and systems
• Customer support for problems via telephone and email.
• Preparation and follow-up of service operations

Must Haves:

• Mid-level experienced Field Service Engineer or Electronics Engineer (Internal IG JD: 3+ years of experience)
• Must have experience working with High-Voltage (1000-1500vdc)
• Prior experience supporting, installing, maintaining electrical systems, servers, convertors, batteries, simulators, etc.
• Basic IT knowledge (Software and Hardware)
• Reading electrical schematics, circuit diagrams and functional diagrams
• Must be fluent in German
• Working professional communication in English (B2 or higher)
• Must be customer-oriented, cost-conscious and comfortable working in client facing roles
• Class B Driving License
• Willingness to travel

• Certified in Schaltberechtigung or "Switching Authorization"
