As Buyer you will be a key-player in the centralization of procurement in all European branches and service centres whilst collaborating closely with other corporate teams. This position will lead and be responsible for tenders to continuously improve our procurement processes by:
- Supporting the strategic sourcing, tactical purchasing and contracting function of the procurement organization.
- Improving costs, process efficiencies, and keeping high quality of vendor relationships.
- Leading the sourcing process from bid preparation to contract execution.
- Performing contract renewal analysis, managing) procurement contracts within the contract database, benchmark (IT) procurement activities and doing spend analysis by setting-up procurement dashboards.
- Portfolio: Next to IT soft and hardware, you will lead tenders for professional services, office supplies, fleet, facility services, ….
- Partnering with teams and building relationships with customer groups and stakeholders.
You will enjoy working partly remote in partnership with colleagues across Europe in a high performing, evolving world whilst using your strong interpersonal and communication skills.
What you will bring to the role as a Buyer EMEA:
- Several years’ experience working in (indirect) procurement. Ideally in an international (multi-site) office environment. Experience in IT procurement is a big plus.
- Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing German and English
- Have a vast interest in sustainable procurement and ESG.
- Very good negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management both orally and in writing and provide sound rationale for recommendations.
- Ability to perform complex tasks and to prioritize multiple projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite - particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work both independently and across a local and remote team
