We are looking for a MES Support Consultant with hands-on experience in OpsCenter and a strong background in Manufacturing & Quality shop floor applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain knowledge of the Manufacturing or Aerospace industry and play a critical role in providing technical support, incident resolution, and system enhancements within a production environment.
This is a support-focused role, and familiarity with IT-OT integration, PLC, SCADA, and discrete manufacturing processes is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support and incident resolution for MES OpsCenter applications in a live production environment.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues affecting shop floor systems to minimize downtime.
- Perform enhancements and minor developments to support continuous improvement and business needs.
- Collaborate with manufacturing stakeholders to understand operational issues and translate them into technical actions.
- Maintain and update technical documentation and support procedures.
- Participate in deployment and release processes, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Support the integration of IT and OT systems for optimal production visibility and control.
- Ensure MES system performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams and vendors for issue resolution and change coordination.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), particularly OpsCenter.
- Solid understanding of Manufacturing and Quality processes in Aerospace or Discrete Manufacturing industries.
- Practical experience working with PLC, SCADA, and OT systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in high-availability production environments.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
