Role

Currently we are looking for a Sales Manager with Automotive & Manufacturing subject matter expertise to join our DXC Automotive & Manufacturing Industry Sales Team for Consulting & Engineering Services (CES).

Responsibilities

  • Proactively and creatively identify new business opportunities within current and new client areas
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to win new business, achieve revenue goals, managing various sales cycle demands effectively.
  • Achievement of in year targets; generate sales leads and bring them successfully to completion;
  • Orchestrate and create solution concepts and proposals including winning price identification within the specified CES portfolio;
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline while continuously educating customers about DXC solutions, products, pricing, and market differentiators.
  • Be able to negotiate creatively and successfully; turn opportunities into contracts/purchase orders;
  • Build and maintain client relationships to drive sales growth.
  • Analyze market data for potential opportunities and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring departmental alignment and synergy.
  • Introduce process improvements and innovative technologies to the sales process.
  • Participate in sales negotiations and contribute to deal closings.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role
  • Good understanding of the Automotive and Manufacturing industry clients and ecosystem
  • Knowledge of modern Automotive and Manufacturing technologies in the key domains of Consulting, Enterprise & Custom Applications, Data & AI, SW development & engineering services, Smart Manufacturing and Software Defined Vehicles
  • Proven track record in sales and sales enablement
  • Established and trusted client relationship is a plus
  • Proficiencies in sales strategy development, customer relationship management, and market analysis
  • A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Certified Sales Enablement Professional (CSEP) a plus
