Job title: Generator Mechanic Assistant

Location: Amberg Region, Bavaria, Germany

Project Duration: 30 Days (Starting 10th May 2025

Working Hours: 40-48 hours per week

Pay Rate - €12.82 per hour (All Travel, Food, Accommodation & everything in between included alongside the salary.)

Must hold an EU Passport / Right to work in Germany

The Generator Mechanic will be responsible for replacing and repairing worn and defective parts, re-assemble mechanical components, change oil and filters, and perform other routine mechanical tasks.

Also, will perform activities and personnel engaged in the full range of servicing and repair of diesel and petrol generators under supervisory of Generator Mechanic.

• Perform all tasks related to generator installations in the compound and common area premises in supervision of Generator Mechanics Install new generators including allied works to complete power generating stations in the compound and offices
• Maintain equipment operation by completing inspections, preventive maintenance requirements, correcting deficiencies, keeping records, diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Complete preventive maintenance schedules, installing components, parts upgrades, correcting deficiencies, maintaining appearance and keeping records of time by task.
• Review system user manuals and other technical engineering schematics to assist Supervisor with maintenance issues and clarify complex technical issues Diagnose and repair any issues found during initial testing.

• Change filters and perform standard service on units.
• Work closely with the Service Manager on project progress, estimates, etc.
• Prepare generators for shipment.
• Secondary Diploma required.
• Certificate in electronics and mechanics highly preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of experience in installation, maintenance and repairs of generators and electrical appliances In-depth knowledge of equipment diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.
• Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving. Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to complete various forms and records, including requisitions, repair and servicing forms
• Can understand and communicate in English
