Our client, a global industrial leader with a strong sustainability and innovation agenda, is seeking a Vice President of Business & Sustainability Controlling to lead global performance monitoring and strategic financial planning. This senior role sits at the heart of the organization’s decision-making process, supporting executive leadership with critical insights to drive growth and sustainable impact.

This is a high-visibility position with close collaboration across Finance, Executive Committee, and Global Support teams, offering the opportunity to influence financial outcomes, strategic direction, and sustainability performance on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Advise CFO and ExCo with high-quality business performance analysis, forecasts, and decision-making models.
• Lead the global budget, planning, and forecasting processes for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Oversee investment performance, including sustainability-related CAPEX.

Sustainability & Value Creation

• Co-lead the Group’s Value Creation Model and Sustainability Controlling function.
• Support ESG strategy through data-driven reporting and alignment with company-wide sustainability goals.

Performance & Reporting Excellence

• Maintain and enhance KPI dashboards, profitability monitoring tools, and pricing analysis models.
• Coordinate monthly results and finance calls with regional teams and shareholders.
• Deliver clear, executive-level reporting with strategic insights and narratives.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Lead a team of 4 direct reports (financial and sustainability controllers) with dotted lines to regional controllers.
• Foster collaboration with ExCo, Sustainability Council, and key functions across regions.
• Champion process simplification and drive financial performance improvement initiatives.

Your Profile

? 10+ years of experience in Financial/Business Controlling, ideally in international settings

? Proven leadership experience with strong stakeholder management skills

? Excellent analytical skills and comfort with complex financial modelling

? Experience in ESG/sustainability reporting or interest to grow in this area

? Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), and business intelligence tools

? Fluent in English with strong communication and presentation skills
