Job Title: Senior Service Engineer


Wenham Carter is hiring on behalf of Germany’s innovative startup behind the world’s first patented modular robot who raised more than $50 million from the world’s best VCs, such as Sequoia Capital and Lightspeed, as well as the founders of UiPath, Helsing, Pitch, and other companies to fulfill the mission.


We are looking for a (Senior) Service Engineer (m/f/d) with the ambition to manage the best automation solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Service and Maintenance at Customer Sites: You will independently carry out the commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of our automation solutions at customer locations.
  • Problem Solving: You will quickly find solutions for complex mechanical, electrical, or software-related issues and ensure that the systems operate smoothly.
  • Customer Orientation: You will implement customer requirements effectively and ensure that their systems run optimally, significantly contributing to customer satisfaction.
  • Project Execution: You will accompany projects to expand systems with a strong focus on service and maintenance.
  • Documentation: You will create and maintain system documentation and test protocols to ensure maintenance efficiency and quality assurance.
  • 3D Printing of Spare Parts: You will utilize 3D printing to develop components specifically for service and maintenance solutions.


Qualifications:

  • You bring experience in the commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automation systems or similar equipment.
  • You have completed vocational training in a technical field or hold a degree in a related area, such as automation technology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or robotics.
  • You work in a structured manner and document knowledge clearly and understandably.
  • You reflect on feedback constructively and implement it purposefully for improvements.
  • The success of our customers motivates you, and you have a strong service orientation.
  • You solve problems pragmatically while adhering to existing standards.
  • You enjoy collaborating with functions such as sales and supply chain. You are willing to travel and regularly support our customers on-site (> 70%).
  • Very good German and good English language skills complete your profile.
