A Top 10 Systems Integrator are looking to expand their European team. They are looking for someone who is happy to work remotely and commute to customer sites and the EU headquarters when needed. This will be a customer facing role so being able to speak both German and English is necessary.

Candidates should have experience with one or more of the following or similar platforms:

• Inductive Automation: Ignition
• Rockwell Automation: ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PlantPAx, FactoryTalk
• Emerson: DeltaV
• Schneider Electric: Modicon PLCs, EcoStruxure, Power Monitoring Expert (PME), PowerSCADA
• Siemens: S7, PCS7, WinCC
• IT & Networking: VMWare, Cisco, Fortinet (firewalls and networking technologies)
• Other: Comparable automation, industrial IT, or MES systems

Key Responsibilities

Instrumentation & Electrical Design (20%)

• Interpret P&ID drawings to create instrument lists
• Prepare procurement and submittal documentation for hardware
• Provide technical support to panel fabrication teams
• Inspect control panels and enclosures for compliance

System Design & Configuration (30%)

• Participate in customer design review meetings
• Assemble and configure development systems using project hardware
• Develop HMI screens and configure control algorithms (DDC, PLC, DCS)
• Draft system documentation and assist in customer testing and demos

Onsite Startup & Commissioning (50%)

• Install and test system software at customer sites
• Start up instrumentation and conduct full system testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues, including software adjustments
• Assist with developing training materials and supporting system handover
