About the Position


We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager based in Germany to join our Plastic Business Unit. This role is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence across Europe. The main product lines include tarpaulins, backlit banners, and other PVC fabric solutions.


Responsibilities


  • Develop the European market and secure sales orders in alignment with the Company’s growth objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and potential clients to expand the customer base and increase market share.
  • Formulate and execute effective sales strategies to achieve established targets.
  • Analyse market trends and monitor competitor activities to refine sales tactics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales data to evaluate performance and continuously optimize sales processes.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Address customer needs and manage complaints professionally to maintain service quality.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed to visit clients, resolve complaints, conduct on-site inspections, and provide immediate feedback to the quality department.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with headquarters teams, including sales, product development, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth operations and strategic alignment.
  • Plan and manage the sales budget to support sustainable growth and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with applicable laws, industry regulations, and internal company policies.
  • Conduct all transactions according to company pricing and policies.


Requirements


  • Minimum of three years of relevant industry experience, with a strong track record in sales and business development within European markets.
  • Proven success in acquiring major clients from the ground up and driving market expansion.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and negotiation skills; capable of managing complex customer needs and high-stakes discussions.
  • In-depth knowledge of the European tarpaulin and lighting box fabric markets, including economic conditions, legal frameworks, business regulations, market trends, and local customs.
  • Strong understanding of European culture and business etiquette, with the ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-cultural teams, including close collaboration with China-based colleagues on business development, trade shows, and customer complaint resolution.
  • Highly self-motivated, goal-driven, and disciplined, with a strong ability to work independently and maintain high productivity in a remote setting.
  • This is a remote role that requires frequent domestic and international travel.
