Director of Human Resources
Location: Munich
Our client is seeking a Director Human Resources to shape the future of their people function and support their continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the HR department across the entire organisation, spanning more than 20 affiliated companies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related matters and act as a permanent member of the leadership team.
- Develop and implement forward-thinking strategies to attract, hire, and retain senior and executive-level talent.
- Design and roll out standardised, organisation-wide HR processes to enhance recruitment, onboarding, and employee experience.
- Oversee HR controlling, including the development of insightful reports and KPIs to be shared with top leadership.
- Continuously optimise the HR function and lead a high-performing team of experienced HR professionals.
Requirements:
- A university degree in business, economics, social sciences, psychology, or a related discipline.
- At least 5–7 years of relevant professional experience, ideally from a consultancy, venture capital/private equity environment, or a dynamic start-up/scale-up.
- A strong track record in HR leadership with a focus on execution, structure, and results.
- Exceptional communication skills and a willingness to be hands-on when needed.
- Proficiency in both German and English is essential.
