Title: Quality Control Lab Head

Location: Darmstadt, Hessen, Germany

Work model: Full time and On-site

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily operations of the QC laboratory team.
• Oversee analytical testing.
• Develop and maintain QC procedures, SOPs, and test methods.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 standards.
• Manage laboratory resources, including equipment calibration and inventory.
• Support regulatory inspections, customer audits, and lead investigations into deviations and non-conformances.
• Train, coach, and evaluate laboratory staff.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• Several years’ experience in QC within the medical device or pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, GMP or related regulations.
• Leadership experience is an advantage but not a necessity.
• Experience with laboratory testing techniques and quality documentation.
• Fluent in German and English.
