Your Role in a Nutshell
In this role you will break new ground by implementing new sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets whilst providing exceptional customer experience and excellence.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Development and execution of new sales strategies: Create and implement innovative strategies for sales channels outside traditional specialist retailers, such as drugstores, hardware stores, or supermarkets
- Market analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential sales channels and new business opportunities
- Building and strengthening relationships: Establish, maintain, and develop strong partnerships with new sales partners and customers
- Negotiation and contract Management: Lead negotiations and finalize agreements with new sales partners.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Service to ensure the smooth introduction of new sales channels
- Market monitoring and competitor analysis: Keep track of market trends and analyze competitor activities
- Revenue and growth accountability: Take ownership of achieving revenue and growth targets for assigned sales channels.
- Sales performance analysis: Regularly review and analyze sales figures, prepare sales forecasts, and report results to management
Your Ideal Background:
- Professional Experience: Several years of experience in Business Development, Key Account Management, or a similar role with a focus on sales, networking, and strategy development
- Retail market knowledge: Familiarity consumer good / retail market is highly desirable
- Educational Background: Completed commercial training and/or a degree in a relevant field
- Soft Skills: Reliability, resilience, focus, and a strong ability to work in teams
- Work Style: Entrepreneurial and drive to create value
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in German and business-level English
- Willingness to travel
