Recently, the company expanded its product portfolio through an acquisition and is now looking for an experienced Head of Software Development. In this key role, you will lead the agile teams, ensuring smooth project execution and continuous improvements in the development process.
Key Responsibilities as Head of Software Development:
- Lead and guide the software development team, offering mentorship, technical direction, and career development.
- Develop and implement the software development strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company’s business goals.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, deployment, and maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, such as Product Management and QA, to define product requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in C#.NET and the broader software development field.
Requirements for the Head of Software Development:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Proven experience in a senior software development role, preferably with experience managing or leading a team.
- Strong expertise in C#.NET, including ASP.NET and .NET Core.
- Experience with cloud platforms and Microservice Architectures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, especially Agile and Scrum.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.
